Atomic Jolt Authorisation Message Issue
There is an issue where some users may see an authorisation message when using Atomic Jolt tools in Canvas, including Atomic Comment Box and Social Polls. Until a permanent fix is available, please use the workaround below.
Workaround
- Open the affected Canvas page.
- Select Edit.
- In the editor, open Apps / External Tools.
- Select Comment Box or Social Poll.
- Follow the authorisation prompt, if it appears.
- Save or reload the page.
- Check that the Atomic Jolt tool is now loading correctly.
If the issue is not resolved after completing the steps above, please log a ServiceConnect ticket (https://serviceconnect.uts.edu.au) and include:
- Canvas subject code
- Link to the affected Canvas page
- The Atomic Jolt tool affected, such as Comment Box, Social Polls, or both
- Screenshot of the authorisation message
