Canvas Media Gallery analytics

The Media Gallery is a repository of all the videos for a particular Canvas subject that is visible to all instructors and could be visible to students within the subject. Academic staff may contribute new media items to the Media Gallery or add media items (publish) from My Media/other teaching subjects’ Media Gallery (Import option) or Shared Repository.

Analytics of embedded entries in Canvas pages

Media Gallery could be enabled to display entries which are embedded in Canvas pages by selecting “Display embedded media in this Media Gallery”.
After enabling your Media Gallery to display Canvas pages media entries, you can easily review all your subject’s media entries’ analytics.
