Subject Coordinator unable to create and configure Campus Pack content
UPDATE: 9th of May, 2019 – Fix identified. Description, Status, and Workaround sections updated below.
Affected users
Subject Coordinators
Description
Staff enrolled as Subject Coordinators in a UTSOnline subject site are unable to create Campus Pack content due to insufficient privileges. When a Subject Coordinator attempts to add a Campus Pack content item to a content area in their UTSOnline subject site, they will encounter the following error:
“Access Denied…You do not have permission to access the content at this path”

Permission denied error in Campus Pack
Additionally, if a Subject Coordinator is able to access an existing Campus Pack content item, they will be unable to access the Settings of that item (see image below):

Campus Pack settings missing
This issue will only impact UTSOnline subject sites that existed in Campus Pack before the 8th of May, 2019. If your UTSOnline subject site was created after this date or if your UTSOnline subject site did NOT use Campus Pack before this date, this will not be an issue.
Status
A fix has been identified which can only be applied per UTSOnline subject site. To apply this fix, log a UTS ServiceConnect request to the Learning and Teaching Systems team so that they can associate the Subject Coordinator role to your UTSOnline subject site in Campus Pack.
Workaround
You can also utilise a workaround which can be self-administered.
If you are a Subject Coordinator, change your role in your UTSOnline subject site to Instructor. Once you are an Instructor, you will be able to create Campus Pack content and configure the settings of existing Campus Pack content. When completed, you can change your role back to Subject Coordinator.
