Description:

The service providing inline document markup in the Blackboard Assignment tool was retired in January 2018 and replaced by a service called New Box View. During the changeover from the old service to New Box View, annotations created for students submissions in the old service were “burned” into the student submission and then migrated to New Box View. This meant that when the student submission was viewed in New Box View, the annotations created in the old service were visible but could not be edited or deleted. However, some of these burned in annotations when viewed through New Box View are partially obscured by the right margin (see image below):
