LinkedIn Learning
UTS students can access LinkedIn Learning content via the UTS Library or through UTSOnline. This help page describes how to add a link to LinkedIn Learning through your UTSOnline subject site.
Add a LinkedIn Learning course to your UTSOnline subject site *
You can embed a link to a LinkedIn Learning course directly in the content area of your UTSOnline subject site. Students accessing the LinkedIn Learning content in this way will be automatically authenticated into LinkedIn Learning without having to re-enter their login credentials.
Please refer to the steps below which illustrates how to add a link to a LinkedIn Learning course in your UTSOnline subject site.
Step through the instructions below by clicking on the left and right arrows, or the dots under the slides.
Moving from Lynda.com to LinkedIn Learning (July 2020) *
LinkedIn Learning is the next generation of Lynda.com. From July 2020, LinkedIn has advised that any content in your UTSOnline subject site that was created using the Lynda.com tool will no longer work. If you are unsure as to whether your content was created via the Lynda.com tool, the appearance of this content item in the content area of your UTSOnline subject site generally has a Lynda.com icon, short description, and thumbnail (see example below):

From July 2020, if students attempt to access Lynda.com content in your UTSOnline subject site, they will be redirected to the LinkedIn Learning landing page instead of the Lynda.com course.
To address this, it is recommended that any Lynda.com content items in your UTSOnline subject site are made unavailable for students. If reporting is not a requirement, you can delete the Lynda.com content item from your UTSOnline subject site.
You can replace the old Lynda.com content item by creating a new link using the LinkedIn Learning tool. To utilise the LinkedIn Learning tool, please follow the instructions outlined above.
