UTS is moving towards an automated end-of-session grades submission process within UTSOnline. In a few simple steps, UTSOnline will export results directly from Blackboard’s Grade Centre and into CASS. For many, this process streamlines management by removing the need for a duplicate SLS spreadsheet to record results. For some, it will involve the use of the Grade Centre for the first time.
During the Spring Session 2018, the new Grade Submission Automation will be trialed by four faculties:
- Graduate School of Health
These faculties may already have noticed new columns have been added to their subject’s Grade Centre. The remaining faculties will move to grade submission automation in the summer session.
There are some simple steps you need to take at the start of session, and some at the end. Each of these links will take you to detailed instructional walkthroughs, which cover both academic and faculty admin roles:
- Setting Up Your Grade Centre for Automation at the Start of Session
- Finalizing and Submitting Your Grades at the End of Session
- Modifying or Adjusting Your Grades After End of Session Submission (coming 02/07/2018)
